It’s already 6:00 p.m., the store will be closing 30 minutes from now
The department store is crowded with ladies shopping for dinner
Even I’m mistaken in that wave (of people) until I came to the sales counter of the grocery
I’ll make the best quality guy into someone who loves salad.

I choose lettuce as green & soft as possible
I buy a pack of 3 tomatoes with the same shape

I enter from the side & I won’t lose to an old lady;
At last I make it to the cash register
This time, my wallet couldn’t be found.
Embarassed, I search in my pocket

I finally found my wallet I get flustered, pay, & breathe a sigh
I add a small bouquet to the side of the big doubled-bagged package

The cabbage is cut very thin but it’s not strained
One piece of apple transforms me into a rabbit; I decorate it with 7 pieces

I’m nearly home, & you return & give me a welcome-home kiss like always
I shake the special made dressing & pour in plenty of my love

I speak articulately & cut the simple salad & just serve that
Anyone can leave no leftovers, but I love you for eating it for me
